A Summary of Events
Morning Musume. is a part of the all-girl, Japanese pop music group deemed Hello! Project produced by Up-Front Works Agency and retired singer, Tsunku. Beginning in 1997, Morning Musume. quickly became a great success with it's first generation of members Yuko Nakazawa, Aya Ishiguro, Kaori Iida, Natsumi Abe, and Asuka Fukuda. Generations in Morning Musume. mark the years when new members joined the group. Currently there are 8 Generations of Morning Musume. Because there are so many girls in this group, they are split up occassionally into smaller groups to perform different entertainment for the fans. Subgroups come in a wide variety in Hello! Project because there are so many girls to chose from.
Kago debuted in Morning Musume. as one of the four members of the Fourth Generation in 2000 at the ripe, young age of twelve. With the cutesy duo of Ai Kago and Tsuji Nozomi, the gorgeous tomboy, Hitomi Yoshizawa and the alluring and sexy Rika Ishikawa, they make up what I like to call the most entertaining Generation of girls to hit the group because of their diverse talents and shining personalities on and off stage. It was here that Ai Kago met her best friend, Tsuji Nozomi. The two have been close ever since, sparking the duo that would later end abruptly, W(Double You).
Because of the setbacks discussed here, Kago is currently spending her time rebuilding her career. She has stated that she wants to become a more adult singer to reflect her new maturity after everything that has happened. She has also worked on a Hong Kong film mentioned in the discography. You can read more about her life and look at the many pictures she takes at The Biscuit Club.
